It is with a great deal of pride that we make the following announcement.

In 2006, the Visiting Nurse Association's Home Health Division was ranked in the Top 25% of all home health care providers in the United States.

Decision Health, a national independent provider of health care information, conducted a study of all 7,000 Medicare certified home health agencies in the country. The review examined several aspects of each agency's operations, specifically patient quality of care, quality improvement, and financial performance.

Based upon the study's findings, the Visiting Nurse Association's Home Health Division received a Top 25% honor.

Of the home health care agencies based in St. Clair County, only one other agency also received this ranking and the VNA congratulates Mercy Home Care for their accomplishment.

In our 55th year, the VNA continues to play an important role in the health and well-being of our community's residents. We are proud of the fact that we have never turned away a single patient in our long history due to an inability to pay. Our commitment to providing the best care to our community is reflected in this award.
