In order to provide a wide range of choices, Visiting Nurse Association offers three types of services:

Physician-Prescribed Home Health Care Services

Our certified home care division works directly with patients, families, and their physicians. Insurance coverage will usually pay for in-home services following a period of illness or injury. Available services:

Chronic Care Special Care Services

Our chronic care agency assists patients and families in making decisions that enable the patient to maintain independence and remain at home. Services are available for a one-hour shift or around the clock, 365 days a year. Some services may be covered by insurance, while others are available on a private pay basis or special needs funding through the St. Clair County United Way, St. Clair County Senior Millage or Area Agency on Aging 1-B. Hospice Care


Blue Water Hospice promotes quality of life for the terminally ill patient. Medical care is directed at the control of pain and symptoms. Services are provided with a team approach to care. Blue Water Hospice makes it possible for the patient and loved ones to spend quality time together in the comfort of their home. Care is given to make sure the last months of life are lived with dignity and a sense of importance. Available services:
